What would you do?City-High

My friend Juicegal responded to a post on a sugarbelly's blog about race! I am going to narrow it to Race and women!
The complaint is that Dare used an Indian girl in his video..I will be honest, my reaction was the same as sugarbelly's...Not because I am convinced that I am underpriviledged as a result of my skin colour...but because Dare made a comment a few years ago which really annoyed me. It was a performance in Lagos and he said 'this is my problem with nigeria, the sound check is always bad'.petty I know but he was saying that because he had just come back from that music show in SA...So after he said that, what was his contribution to making the sound check better...he was singing badly, he was huffing and puffing when he should have accepted that he was feeling abit nervous about performing!!!!! I feel that this is the same with the indian girl...so what there was no nigerian girl with the bod of that babe and they couldn't do indian virgin weave for her to make her hair look like that??Fair enough he is married to a nigerian girl but marriages are not always sufficient evidence to judge by(no offence meant) and so maybe sugarbelly is right to say that he is more at ease with other races or generally people that are not nigerian jare!!!

Second point, juicegal made about using black girls in american videos...I detest it to be honest...American rap, pop videos objectify women a little too much for my liking! If she is not half-naked, she is in compromising situations, like I really hate their portrayal of women, only useful as mothers or sex objects...it's disgusting. Having said that though, the women also play a huge part and so should take about 65-70% blame, because they consent to being seen in that light...Yes they have to feed etc but really, is that always the best option? It may suffice today but then when 7 years down the line you're ashamed of your boobies shown around and pressed by Snoop Dogg whose wife will probably never leave him and whose boobies you have not seen, you'll wonder why you really did it...

Having said this though, I agree with juicegal, let us move past race and do something positive!

Women of the world unite!(ok got a little carried away with Marx during exams so pardon a sister!)

The Role of Women in Society

I have been thinking about 'women' and how they shape our society. Everyday we hear about our world being 'a man's world' and women have no rights, no life, nothing, we are slaves to men in our societies...laws created are patriachal and so automatically exclude women from particiapting in society. I have come to the conclusion that this is an extreme view because I feel women are a much to blame as men are for the 'patriachal' society. Using the Nigerian society, I would like to make a few generalizations about the African society and the World in general.

1. Men are born by women!

Obviously!! It seems a norm that women have close bonds to their kids as they are born which means that a mother's love for her child is something that child will always respect. In this sense therefore, women have a hold over their children in a way no one else really does(except you're the devil in the devil's advocate. Essentially a woman wields power over her son and influences alot of decisions he makes...

2. Women do not use the power effectively!

So they have this influence, but rather than steer the child in the right directions, they manipulate and hate their daughters in- law!! A woman who has the 'ear' of her son can influence him so positively pro-women that should he be in a position of law-making, he would defend women. Mary had the ear of her son which is why he turned water to wine...women should emulate her in the way she dealt with her child whether or not he was the son of God...The bible may not tell us that Jesus got a spanking at 5 for peeing on the bed but I would like to assume that his mother would have done that to him. Evidently, the fact that he turned the water to wine, she had set down a few rules before about 'disobeying mummy'!

I have more to say but I have to go now because of thursday but come thursday 7pm(maybe not) I will add to this!

Life without weaves!

I had promised that there would be no blogging till thursday but na lie...
here are a few reasons why we should thank the almighty, technology, indian tradition and money for the creation of the new phenomenon...HUMAN HAIR...remy to be precise!

1. People with short hair can now have cause to glorify the almighty...Imagine if your hair lost the ability to grow because you went to school in Badore, Loyola, Louisville, Adesoye...sha you get all those schools where you had to have 'low cut'...

2. People with bad hair can cover it up...you know like the ones with 'chop chop' in front and at the back...kai we thank God...or the ones where the front is long and the back is non-existent...or thin, discoloured hair...wow!

3. People with long hair who do not have the liver to cut it can feel among with Ri-ri and Vicky. B! *guilty as charged*

4. *****The P and Swagger can be heavy on you...ok this sentence made no sense, I just wanted to say it...basically remy hair now separates your weave(technically) from Mercy's own because yours is 30,000 naira or £80 and hers was 12pounds...*personally, a weave is a weave to me, I always know!!!

So people, let us kneel down everyday and give glory to God for this creation...btw if anyone has seen 'DJM's' rant about weaves, I agree with him but that's blog for later...till then *peace*beating my chest*two fingers sideways*

Talent, Work...the New Nigerian

Just had my second exam and I must say people keep the prayers coming, I need them!!
Anyway so I just saw a video by some boys rapping about air and hair and music...hmm...kicks and starts or something...I am a big HATER of the talented rapper, designer, photographer, make-up artist...the artist in general...and I have never really known why...at first it was jealousy as I have no artistic talent, cannot sing, cannot rhyme, cannot draw a straight line, have no fashion sense...nana...in a way I am jealous as in I wish I had the ability to do some of these things...anywhichway I do have the ability to speak and write(ok somewhat!) so I should not over-hate!!
back to my point...I have realised that the dignity of education has diminished over the past 3-4 generations...
In the colonial era and the early post-colonial era, there was dignity in becoming a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, an accountant...generally to obtain either professional degrees or specialise in a subject and reach the highest point...Intellectualism was key...My great-grand parents and grand-parents belong to this era...As a result, our political, intellectual families were born...the lawyers, doctors etc...This was mostly because they had suffered the insensitivity of racism where they were relegated to slavery...A thirst to be like their masters drove their ambition to become intellectual...they had to stand up to their masters...However abberations occurred...Fela...he was a musical intellectual...in this sense I would argue that he was like the other intellectuals as he was put on the same pedestal as western musical intellectuals...
These people gave birth to my parents and their friends...however the drive to become intellectuals had diminished...the drive was material success...this they have achieved... Our parents lived off the glory of their parents...i.e. their dignity was ascribed to them partly because of whose child they were...this is not to say that they have not worked hard or that some of them have not succeeded without the help of an intellectual parent...however they have not been the saviours of our country, they work through the system and maintain the status quo...no revolutionary spirit like their fathers and mothers...
Then there is the new generation...the tomorrow of Nigeria...we have abandoned intellectualism further...our drive is not revolutionary...our drive is material success...no dignity in suffering...infact suffering...wth is that???I am guilty of this as well...I chose not to do a professional degree but in my defence...I LOVE what I do and those who know me will testify that I breath the humanities...I want to be an intellectual like my grand-parents but I don't know if I want to be that uncomfortable...
So what is my point...that this new boom of musicians, designers, rappers, make-up artists etc are a result of the desire to move away or rebel from intellectualism and find another way to succeed apart from school rather than a desire to change the status quo...in my revolutionary spirit I say...'children of the arts unite' but the truth is I cannot see the intellectualism in what we do...we are singing about girls bums, popping bottles, i'm hotter than fire...and the cliche corruption in Nigeria...it's a hard life wey we dey live o...but what are we going to do to change it...We are inspired by Hollywood to be 'artistes'...there is money to be made but let us not forget that Hollywood was created at a time when America had created wealth for its people and so this next step was acceptable!! Nigeria has not created wealth and our 'artistes' should be like Russia's Zamiatin, Gorky, Pasternak,Eisenstein...revolutionary...angry for change...why are we singing about hair and nonsense as if that's our problem in life!

I love you no ps!!

Ok I need to stop writing every ten seconds...I am very like this though...I love doing something all the time and then I get bored...hopefully that won't happen...Also...I'm unsure about the one eye but I think this image adequately explains...

***This is dedicated to my better half, best friend(i realise i hate this title), my sister(the one i never had), my twin(the one i'm convinced died when we were born)

I have gone through many 'best friends' and thank God I finally found the 'one'...She understands my simplicity yet acknowledges my complexity in a way even I don't comprehend... She understands those moods I have where I cry for no reason I can explain and leaves me to get better, no over questioning of whats wrong? are you ok?is it a headache?is it him?did she annoy you?none of that...just a 'recieve a bosom hug' and I laugh or I burst into tears and laugh right after...
Our friendship is easy...we disagree, we fight and then we make up...We're there no matter the number of failures we go through...she picks me up when I fall and I'm there when she is down....we have no money issues...I owe her a fortune at the moment but she understands that when I have its ofr both of us and when she has I buy food and hot dogs...and body wash...In times of heartbreak, we hate the boy together when we talk and we never hesitate to let each other's boys know of our existence...you marry one, you marry the other...I am the third wheel in her relationship right now and she accepts that...so does Oga...he has no choice, he has grown to understand these 'two peas in a pod'!

Ok so I have described our friendship! I saw your post, it made me cry, I need to cry!I know you're worried, i'm not usually on a path to self-destruction...I will be happy though eventually I pray...I light candles everyday!so I know that the right answer will come...before that though all I need rather than help is for you to keep listening to me rant and rave about the same thing...to point out when I have been immature...to allow me as usual be a loser and live my 'exciting' love life through you and Oga...the stories make me happy...I am a show off..I have told everyone and anyone that will listen to me about my friends that are in love!!!!!!I hope you come home with me...you'll give me the strength I need!!

I love you no PS!!!!!!!

The Politics of X-men origins- Wolverine

Ok so this is somehow revision...well first year international relations which may or may not count for future reference!haha!

Today I will be talking about the political undertone of X-men Origins- Wolverine...

So for those who have not seen this movie, I urge you to hook yourselves up with a cinema near you!!!!!!!If not for the love of our beautiful country which was so stupidly portrayed(i.e. the igbo spoken was impure to say the least) but for the sexual prowess of Hugh Jackman...my God...sex on legs...*dreamy eyes*

Back to politics!!!

The American foreign policy

Ok so, the mutants go to Nigeria in search of some stupid stone/diamond and they kill a few people to find it... This is typical of the US and the West in general where they make alliances with countries and then try and take over the governance of the land(democracy is not always the way guys!let Iraq go)... The refusal of the man in the office with the elevator to co-operate with the general cost him his life...The professor and his team assume this role of protection without been asked and this takes its toll on countries like Nigeria who are minding their business doing 419 and smuggling diamonds or whatever it was the 12 disciples in the defence house were up to when the man said 'ton off the elevato' in the most un-Nigerian accent...it was a cross beween Ghana and some country in East or South Africa!!!!this is the first undertone which is shown...the american foreign policy of expansion and promoting democracy at all cost...No america will not be the president of the United States of the World. so what's your bizwax if Timbuktu(its not a country!) won't democratise! Are you neighbours?NO! isich your money?NO...so pls face obesity in your country abeg!(ok that was OP!)

For the protection of the 'american people' the professor is trying to create something which will eradicate these mutants but so what is the Nigerian 'diamond' industry's concern(ps: I am not a guru on Nigerian raw materials but I doubt that the Igbos would be willing to die for something that they most likely don't have!)Same with this 'war on terror'...fair enough innocent civilians died in the twin towers but is the answer to kill thousands of Iraqis, Afghans, and a few more around the middle east...

Another aspect of this is the professor's desire to 'stop them' before they spread...straight out of the foreign office in DC...The american foreign policy is to deter all forms of threat before they think about threatening you...The cold war(which might I add, I don't believe they won, Russia lost!), this issue with Iran having nuclear weapons, Iraq's unfound weapons of mass destruction...So what if they have them, why so paranoid...who cares about you guys...in our world of anarchy, there is no safety, states are going to protect themselves from threat too...If you think you can protect yourself and your citizens, Iran and Iraq should have the free will to do the same!

RANT OVER!

GOD

I just watched this 'big impact video' and although I say shame unto the professor for trying to indoctrinate rather than impart knowledge, I don't know if I fully agree with the proposition this video makes. The video advocates that the event is true and not made up, but if we follow the theory of believing newspapers over the bible, this video is just another piece of propaganda like the bible or like a newspaper and so why should we believe what it says?

The professor running is something I really do not understand? Why did he run? A fear that there is a God or the shame of being wrong for the first time? It seems abit stupid that he ran. If he really believed in the non-existence of God, he would have been able to make an argument as to why the chalk did not shatter. Again this brings me back to the point I made about the video being a piece of propaganda. But let's not dwell to much on that, its not that relevant.

***Let me just say that I am a firm believer in the existence of God in all circumstances and I thank Him daily for my Faith.

The word 'Faith' brings me to my point. The boy who stood fair enough was brave and chose to stand for Christ but his faith allowed him do that. The video is critical of those who believe the newspaper and not the bible... Essentially, they are judging those who do not have faith in the existence of a supernatural. I would argue that this is normal for 2 reasons(maybe more, maybe less).

1. The writers/journalists of newspaper articles are visible to us. If you wanted to meet Anna Politkovskaya(the Russian journalist who was killed) you would be able to. If you disagreed with the views of Larry King, you could write to him and he would reply. Essentially writers can be seen, felt, smelt! Whether we accept or not, the fact that God or Jesus are not in human form is a hindrance to those who do not have Faith. I believe that even God knows this which is why he performs miracles etc so that we may believe.

2. Does anyone really and truly believe in the Trojan wars, the voyages of Odysseus etc...they are described as mythical, fantasy anything but a reality. This can be said of the bible...The stories are so amazing, it is difficult to take it seriously. (This may be the problem where we read the bible literally). More to the point, the writers of these biblical stories are not visible to us...If you disagree with the writing in Paul chapter 2 verse 5, who are you going to e-mail and who will reply. In our world of expanding technology, it is becoming more difficult to have Faith and just accept the existence of a supernatural being.

What is my point, that is is well and good for the boy to stand up and for the self-righteous religious to pat him on the back and scorn the 6000 students who went away not standing but let us when judging take our modern world into consideration.

Peace be unto you!

A REAL MAN???????

Ok, I am blogging again instead of reading Arendt's thoughts on Revolution! I must say it is quite interesting that she does not think that revolution=overthrow of government and ushering in a new one...this definition of revolution is what she refers to as liberation- an uplift from opression. A revolution occurs only when freedom(a political not social goal) occurs...Revision for hepi nearly done!!!!!

Back to the reason for this blog...My friend tagged me in this note about what A REAL MAN should be. Unfortunately I beg to differ because this is again feminism brainwashing us to think that we should always expect great things(and to be honest are these things that great)...in other words breeding seeds of delusions of grandeur...

1. A REAL man doesnt Kiss and Tell

In that case,a real woman does not kiss and tell either, how many times has a girl kissed a boy and kept completely quiet about it. Ok so she does not describe in alot of detail what his tongue looks like but we all get the idea from the giggles or frowns! Also people like Samantha from sex and the city exist in the world so therefore we do know what his tongue looks like. I will agree that boys who kiss and tell in a certain way(I have heard of a boy who brags openly to strangers about his sexcapades when no one really cares!) is not a man at all...I rephrase has low self esteem as a human because he is only saying those things to make himself fit into a stereotype of what he thinks a man is...great achievement you shag a new girl every night...Mark Zuckerberg(or whatever his name is) created facebook, I suggest you follow in such footsteps! However does this his inability to keep quiet make him a 'fake' or 'artificial' man...he is a man as he has the biological definition of a man... In short, if we are going to use this real-fake nonsense, Samantha and the likes of her are not 'real' women!

2. A REAL man notices your hair and nails

Please what the hell is this? If this point came last, I would not be so angry but second...common guys really! Any man who notices my hair personally would probably never speak to me because its never done...As for my nails, I had a manicure for the first time in 2 years,4 days to my 20th. I know we should be well-groomed and look nice but really its not that serious...If I were a boy, I would slap(ok maybe not..actually discussion for later) a girl who threw a tantrum with me because I did not notice her hair and nails....Jeez!

3. A REAL man calls you beautiful ,not hot ,sexy or fine as fuck

No offence, some girls are not beautiful,no need to lie(I am one of those you certainly cannot call beautiful!)...Some girls are hot, they are sexy and fine as fuck...that's what they are..please embrace your being...you're not beautiful...get over it! He finds you attractive as (un) beautiful as you are and he tells you! Ok so maybe fine as fuck is a bit you know...vulgar but hot as sex is too but I would describe a boy as such so does that make me an 'artificial' woman.

4. A REAL man calls you on a daily basis no matter how busy or tired he is

Ok...I don't really know whether I want to disagree completely or not. If he is tired and falls asleep, you can't blame nature for taking its course! If he has been busy all day and he doesn't call, call him to find out if he's ok, text, bbm...that's what technology is for...Don't sit and stew over him not calling...wth?

5. A REAL man looks past what he has heard about you or what his friends think about you

True statement, it should have been first. However can I just point out that a lot of girls have chosen not to be with a man because thier friends think he is bad so in a way that point goes for both men and women!

6. A REAL man wants to spend as much time with you and never gets sick of you

If a girl is allowed to get sick of being with someone, so is a man. RANT OVER!

7. A REAL man kisses you on your forehead just because....

Affectionate awww...but so if he isn't affectionate he is 'artificial' wth? I am not affectionate, I have been told many times that I need to be more romantic...so what the hell does that make me??

8. A REAL man doesnt tell you wat he thinks you want to hear, he tells you whats REAL

What is real?if you knew what was real, why were you asking...maybe because although you know the 'real' you want to live just for a few seconds the 'unreal' because it makes life that tiny bit easy! So although I agree that a man or woman should be able to tell you the 'truth', he should also know when to comfort you and tell you that 'izaulriigght'!

9. A REAL man knows how to put ur ass to sleep

After all the a man should be polite and affectionate, saying put your ass to sleep is ok abi? Also what does that mean put your ass to sleep...meaning what the hell exactly because I really don't get..I am confused

10. A REAL man doesnt ask questions when you say you need somethin....HIM, SEX OR MONEY

Only an ignorant man does not ask questions...Analyse this with me people...
Woman: Honey, I would like to buy a new car?
Man: What's wrong with the one you have
Woman: Tantrum Tantrum..you're not a real man, you are asking me questions?

Me: WTH is wrong with you woman??

Woman: I would like to buy a new car?
Man: Ok sweety, I am a real man, anything for you

Me: Man, you are an idiot!

11. A REAL man lets Ho's know, that he has you

Hmm...ho's...a real man should not be with hos and quite frankly if he is, it is an insult to your being that he says to them...mehn angel, my wife Funto is the shiz nit but i am gragged at this second so you will do...honestly,your name should not come up btw a ho and a man because familiarity breeds contempt...whether he told her or not, at the moment he was with her, he chose her over you and she will always be able to rub it in your face!

12. A REAL man doesnt play games

All I know is women are the chief game players! Fronting when you are attracted, pretending you're busy...let's not lie, we invented the game and we cannot handle it anymore so we are calling for a revolution...OP finish what you started!

13. A REAL man doesnt leave his girl to go hang out with his homeboys, when he hasnt seen her in a week, and then call her at 1 in the morning because he needs some love

A real girl should not do the same abeg wth is this point sef? Did you pick at 1am...you too you gorked...if you did not want the love, you should not have picked...you wanted the love and you wanted to call him an asswipe for deserting you...he is a real man, he begged and you gave that love so 'let it go'!

14. A REAL man doesnt think about sex with other bitches when he is makin love to YOU

Hmm again vulgar language nawa o! I don't really know what the point of this point is sha.

15. A REAL knows how many women he has been with

HAhahahahahahahahahhaha LGKM(laf go kill me)... Does Samantha know how many men she has been with. Does charlotte? Even the woman from the bible that kept leaving her husband would not have been able to count how many men she had been with...What an advice...men starting from the first time you encounter a woman, please please please make notes and date them for future reference for the stupid stupid girl that will ask you to name all your girlfriends/flings! PS: same advice to girls please!

My MAIN point...these are the most stupid set of criteria to judge the realness or artificial(ity) of a man...I implore everyone to watch 'he's just not that into you' and find out what real men should be in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston's relationship!

PEACE BE UNTO YOU..I REST MY CASE

What is Love without the Gucci Bags?

I am one of those ahn ahn girls are soo materialistic, what happened to love and hustling etc...I am a hater of the 'Jenifa' style girl because I believe that it is a worthless and unfulfilled life...What is life without a PHD and the power of Margaret Thatcher???? I am not feminist...I am anti-feminist-they are incoherent!

Anyway back to the topic...I was talking to my cousin today and he pointed out that boys/men are under alot of pressure now to please women materially because as he said 'a girl will not be seen with a boy if he can't pop champagne ooooo or get a table at the clubs where 'everyone' is'.

I agree that girls are impressed by all these things, he wears hermes belts not primark leather and etro shirts not nice m&s cotton!

He drives a benz not a volvo( I have a friend who was put off a boy driving a ford!she was disappointed in herself,i must say!)...

Anyway all these things which draw attention to the boys and bring the babes coming he was saying are making life almost unbearable...Essentially, he cannot find the wife...'there are too many bad girls around'. For a while now, I have agreed with this view that women have thrown old values away and are not willing to 'hustle' with their men...Starting today, I disengage myself from such a view because guess what...life has not changed in the generations I will elaborate on!

1. Classics: *I am not a keen classic scholar and I have restricted knowledge so excuse my mistakes*
'What is love without the power of caesar or the greatness of Alexander'... 'What is love if you will not fight a lion and play with bulls to have me'

Women seemed much more respected when we think about goddesses etc. Biblical women of virtue are pasted all over the place. And so this is what most men think the epitome of womanhood should be, women are dainty mantlepieces that make the man's house(the man himself) look good. She is wise and will stand by her Napoleon anyday! She will be crucified with him if need be! In return however, women were protected, provided for and cared for. SO the definition of caring was not a pair of manolos or a nice vera wang or ungaro but fighting wars and bringing glory home is a really tough call...let's be honest men, would you rather be in Iraq or Sudan right now than working your asses off at that desk to afford the winter 09 collection of Chanel! I would say the latter for most...in the words of my people 'who wan die!'. My point of comparison is that, women left their husbands if the man failed to provide these things...all these historical/fictional films we see where the man is betrayed by the woman, its not a lack of love that caused it, its the lack of comfort and security...the man at that point he fell in love would have been unable to provide the woman with the necessary security- he would have been unable to go to that battle at carthage and would not be a man like Diana's husband was!

2. The Elizabethan/Victorian Woman:
'What is love without that mansion in Bath', 'What is love without property'

I know I should not compare because they were different but in the end they have the same achievements- they were female leaders in a male-dominated world. These eras moved women a little from the kitchen into the palace making decisions and telling men to stuff it generally. However, victorian girls were virtuous and pure and so were 'property of the man'.(the outrage of the feminist at this comment especially with a woman in power..shame on you vicky!). They certainly had better rights than the elizabethan girls who could not be educated(Cheltenham Ladies were useful at some point in victorian life!). Jane Austen's final years reflect this idea of women as 'property'. The Bennet girls had to find'advantageous' husbands in order to survive! However it did not stop them from marrying and although they fought for better human rights etc(some) ('A vindication on the rights of Woman' carried on!). Again in comparison to now, the woman was expected to bend over backwards but in return the man provided her with security and comfort...again these gucci bags come into play!!!!

3. Thatcher:
'What is love without Coco Chanel and the payment of electricity bills'

It is popular belief that Margaret was not an 'iron lady' at home infact she was a loving and attentive wife. However by this era, I must admit, women were moving from the kitchen majorly...they stepped up!!! However, this new found power did not take away the need for a woman to be useful in a domestic way or be wanted by a man. The man was still the provider and carer...this was his duty. Women were falling more and more in love with luxury goods because, cheap labour allowed for governesses(househelps in other words) and drivers. In other words, men had found a way to provide security and comfort in the much more advanced and technological world and so luxury goods become the definition of comfort...maybe not security! A man who could pay bills was ensuring security!

4. Bush, Osama, Blair, Obama, Obasanjo and Yardua:
'What is love without the Gucci bags'

We are now in a grey area where the men are looking for the victorian girls of virtue and morality and the biblical woman of strength, courage and purity! However is this fair to demand seeing as technology and feminism (Go the guerilla girls, the girls of the 50s and NOW we hail thee!)have advanced greatly! In a time of recession, we are not asking for your heads to be chopped in a show of glory, we want the war in Iraq to end...all we want is those gucci bags. We bend over backwards, we will supervise the cook, cleaner, organise the lunch rounds, get pregnant, have sex, and some women with a sense of thatcherite fulfillment will run for public office and be ceo's of companies! What is my point,it is that women have not changed and neither have their needs...We have always lived the theory of 'what is love without the gucci bags' it just had different slogans!!!

Token Girl Talk: Boys and Babies

As I am writing this, I am listening to Beyonce's Broken Hearted Girl. I am usually a beyonce hater, I may be jealous of her success or it maybe that I really don't find her as exciting as everyone else(i stick to the latter choice) but the I am...Sasha Fierce album is praise worthy! In the method of T-boy in 'don't jealous me'...this is not what this blog is about!!!! It's about the words of the song.

I like to assume that every girl who has come across a boy in their teenage years will agree that this song speaks alot of truth about a relationship with a boy who does not reciprocate.

My twin and I have recently gone through this phase together and this song woke me up on the situation. I knew what drew me away from falling in like or love- well putting more emotions into a relationship that would end in disaster! but I could not really explain what my fears were until I heard Broken hearted girl... I am comforted by the words...

  • He is everything I think he is but yet he seems to shock me constantly so does that mean that he is not everything I think he is or am I blinded by my emotions towards him?

  • Obviously I don't want my heart broken but if it is, I will be thankful that He did that to me because he has allowed me learn to love and for that reason, I will be there irrespective of the heartbreak...because guess what, if he loves me the same way, he would not want to be the broken-hearted boy either and so we will be each other's companion even in heartbreak.(All this made sense in my head, don't know about the sense it makes on paper...well computer) Plus in the last verse of the song, we are living in a world where its about me and him!

I am slowly realising that I am going down the path of depression if I do not accept that putting some emotion in the relationship that may or may not end in a broken-heart would be good for my progression in the emotional relationship world!

BABIES:

I am at that stage of butterflies and roses and the beautiful blossoming of spring. As a result, I have been thinking about child birth and names. I want twins...two boys...a girl(adopted) and a girl(by natural birth)...end of rearing!!! My initials are KOA and so I want my girls to be KOA as well...and the Boys will be MOA. I would right the names out but I am a 'charlotte' from sex and the city and so I don't want anyone stealing my names!!!!YES I AM A LOSER!!!!!but a proud one!

END OF RANT!

PS: I want a cool slogan like ama's peace, love and basketball! maybe, possibly something like that!

I am new to the whole blogging experience!

I have been inspired by three things to blog like the rest of the world...maybe four(actually I always start with a defined number and end randomly at undefined numbers)

1. Sabirah- my twin and better half; she has a blog and I thought it was a waste of time but...

2.Christiana- she is like my mentor in the year above me(except she does not know that!) and I find her blog amusing plus it reflects alot of my thinking funnily enough!

3. This is the most important actually: I CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO REVISE FOR EXAMS. I am under the delusion that if I blog about exam topics, I would have revised, except that's not actually true but we'll see how that goes!

4. I like to be part of a community, school, facebook, and so now blogspot.com. I am a loser like that and I make no apologies for my conformist nature!

Ok so I did have four inspirations!

Well I am now bored of writing, so I am going to do something else. Hopefully, my blog will be as entertaining as I want it to be!!!!
